“Terri Booth, KE0JYS, was a long time member and supporter of Sullivan Amateur Radio Club. A former Secretary of the group, she attended monthly meetings and activities, as her health allowed.
Terri was fiercely protective of her her children and grandchildren
and spoke of them often. They were the light of her life. She was an independent thinker and offered practical advice when asked.
Terri had a sassy side that put a sparkle in her eye and a smile on your face.
In her later years, Terri’s health limitations prevented her
participation in many areas of her church life and radio outings. But it did not curb her interest or enthusiasm.
For us, Terri was our friend, a precious member of our “hamily”, and will be sorely missed. “
“Lord, be with us as we log our final contact for our friend and fellow operator.
Their key is now silent, their tower brought down, and their earthly frequency has cleared.
May they rest in eternal peace in the great celestial beyond.
As they transition to a higher frequency, watch over their family and guide them through the static of grief.
73 (best regards) and final 3 bits—clear, and out.” [1, 2]
